OUR COMMITMENT
By its very nature and objective - the protection of persons and property in the long term - the insurance business comes within the scope of economic and social responsibility, which in turn requires sustainable development. Insurers are strongly involved in sustainable development by the choices they make, as institutional investors over the long term, as providers of solutions to anticipated risks, and as employers. For these reasons, the profession wanted to equip itself with a Sustainable Development Charter to which Sogécap subscribes in its capacity as a member of the French Federation of Insurance Companies.
Moreover, by the fact of its belonging to the Société Générale group, Sogécap acts in conformity with the commitments undertaken by its parent company such as are described in the site dedicated to its activities, including that of the insurance business line.
